Our Founding
Wear Your Stripes is an official Twitch Team that began with an idea and hope that a forward space could be created so that streamers with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome would come together with their creativity and strength to help empower each other within the gaming community.
Inclusive Community
It was soon realized how important it was to include all streamers with any Chronic Illness within WYS as the commonalities of our conditions often overlap and thus help develop a sense of mutual understanding and acceptance.
Charity Driven
WYS hosted our first Twitch charity streaming event in May 2025 for The Ehlers Danlos Syndrome Society and have been growing together as an extraordinary team of diverse and talented streamers ever since. In August 2025, we fundraised for Canine Companions in celebration of International Assistance Dog Week. In October 2025, we fundraised for the Trans Lifeline in honor of LGBTQIA+ History Month. And in May 2026, WYS hosted our second annual fundraiser for The EDS Society.
Amplifying Good Causes
We are advocates, we are supporters, and we are gamers here to uplift one another through special events, fundraising, networking and more. We welcome inquiries for collaborations and opportunities, so contact us any time!
